Cindy S. Suing
LAUREL — Cindy S. Suing, 56, Laurel, died Dec. 4, 2018, at the Providence Medical Center, Wayne.
Memorial Services were Dec. 10 at the United Lutheran Church, Laurel with Rev. Matthew Quanbeck officiating
Arrangements were under the direction of the Wintz Funeral Home in Laurel.
Cindy was born Aug. 12, 1962, in West Point, to Roland David and Lavonne Faye (Laase) Slagle. She was baptized and confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church, West Point, where she grew up. She graduated from West Point
High School in 1980. She attended Wayne State College for one year and worked in numerous restaurants around the area including the Corner Café, Laurel. She married Chuck Suing June 2, 1995, in Laurel.
Some of Cindy’s favorite pastimes over the years included tending to her gardens, her numerous flowers she always had planted and her house plants. Cindy loved being outdoors. Cindy cherished her grandchildren. She also had an extra special place in her heart for animals, especially cats and her beloved dog “Bentley,” who will also miss her dearly.
Cindy is survived by her husband, Chuck, Laurel; two children, Britney and Josh Hart, Laurel, and Chet and Katie Suing, Laurel; three grandchildren, Haley, Hannah and Hunter Hart; parents, Roland and Lavonne Slagle, Laurel; four step sons, Zachary Suing, Pender; Justin Suing, Allen; Timothy (Alea) Suing, Sioux City, Iowa; and Shawn and Sheena Suing, Allen; four step grandchildren; a brother, Mike (Julie) Slagle, Osmond; parents-in-law, Hank and Georgine Suing, St. Helena; numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; four brothers, Gale, Dan, Gerald and Jim Slagle; and infant grandson, Wyatt Hart.
