Sharon Carol (Elsberry) Boysen
SUN CITY, Ariz. — Sharon Carol (Elsberry) Boysen, daughter of Myrl and Arlene Elsberry, was born Feb. 27, 1947, in O’Neill, and died Aug. 16, 2021, after having a tough year where she lost two brothers, a sister and a sister-in-law.
A memorial service for Sharon will be Sept. 11, at 10:30 a.m., at the Concord Evangelical Free Church.
Sharon was one of seven children and grew up on a farm near Page. She attended country school and graduated from Page High School. She attended college for three years at Miltonville, Kan., and Bethany, Okla., and also worked in Norfolk for a time. She married the love of her life, Milton, Dec. 5, 1959. The two of them were blessed with six children; four boys and two girls. They raised their family on a farm in Northeast Nebraska. When the children were raised, they moved to Allen, where Sharon worked in food service at several nursing homes in the area and also worked for the Allen School as a secretary and a paraprofessional. After retirement, Milton and Sharon moved to Sun City, Ariz., where they were blessed with many enriching relationships through friendships, relatives and their church family.
Sharon’s first love was the Lord, followed by her love for her family and friends. She loved serving others and showed her love by having people over for meals. Sharon trusted Christ during her teenage years and spent her life sharing Christ’s love with others.
