Cedar golfers settle for second
LAUREL — The Cedar Catholic golf team had to settle for runner-up honors at last week’s Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Invitational.
Wayne nipped Cedar 341-343 to win the team title as 11 full teams were among the 14 schools competing.
Riley Kuehn once again earned medalist honors, finishing the day with a 70 to best the runner-up by nine strokes. Hartington-Newcastle finished the day in sixth place. The Wildcat golfers were led by Reece Morten, who fired a 91.
