Wortmann earns spot on All Tourney Team

LINCOLN — Cedar Catholic’s Brynn Wortmarm wrapped up her high school basketball career on a high note.

Despite going 1-2 at last week’s Class D-1 State Tournament, Wortmann still had a great tournament.

She scored 48 points during her three-game stint at State.

She also earned All Tournament team honors from the Lincoln Journal Star.

Other members of the Journal Star’s Class D1 All Tourney team are:

Wortmarm did not make the Omaha World Herald’s All Tourney Team. She was replaced by Karley Ridge of Weeping Water on that newspaper’s All Tourney Team.

Several other area athletes also earned recognition at last week’s State Tourney.

State champ Crofton had two girls named to the honor squad, while state runner-up Ponca also had two on the team. Here is a look at the Journal Star’s Class C2 All Tourney Team:
