State dominance

Hartington-Newcastle’s Lincoln McPhillips and Cedar Catholic’s Sara Reifenrath were dominant at the State Track Meet, both earning multiple medals. McPhillips took third in the triple jump (right). He also earned an All Class Gold in the long jump and third in the high jump. Reifenrath burned up the track winning all three sprint events. Abby Hochstein (below) competed in the shot put for the Lady Trojans. The Wildcat boys ended the State Class D Meet in third place, while the Cedar girls were seventh in the Class C meet.
