League of Heroes wrestlers earn trip to State meet
O’NEILL - Twenty-four members of the Hartington League of Heroes youth wrestling team took part in the District meet here March 6.
The wrestlers competed for glory and a berth to state.
Each and every League competitor contributed to their third place finish in the largest youth wrestling District in the state.
The squad is coached by Eric Becker, John Freeman, and Cameron Schrempp.
The Coaches said they are extremely pleased with the hard work every wrestler has put in this season.
The following Heroes competed, with fourth place or above qualifying for State.
The State meet is scheduled for March 20-21 in Grand Island.
