Wortmann inducted into Doane College Hall of Fame
HARTINGTON — There is a new Hall of Famer in Hartington.
On Friday, Wendy Brouillette Wortmann traveled down to Doane University to be inducted as an individual into the Doane Athletics Hall of Fame.
She was a part of the 2001, 2002 Women’s Outdoor Track and Field team that had already been inducted in 2012.
Wortmann found tremendous success during her time at Doane, earning 11 All-American honors, the second most at Doane. She was a part of both national championship teams in 2001 and 2002, and her teams won all eight conference championships, in both Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field.
