Emma E. Hendrickson

ORANGE CITY, Fla.— Emma E. Hendrickson, 98, Orange City, Fla., died March 19, 2018. A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Coleridge. Emma was born in Coleridge, Jan. 13, 1920, to Laust and Magrethe Klet. She married Oscar Hendrickson March 20, 1946, but later divorced. She lived in the Nebraska area until she moved to Colorado in 1966. She worked at various jobs supporting her family for many years until her retirement, when she moved to Florida. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. She loved country music and dancing. She lived a very active life until she suffered a hemorrhagic bleed several weeks before her death. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Katherine Christensen, Marvin Klet and Cora Wilcox. Survivors include three daughters, Mary Manning, Deltona, Fla.; Betty (John) Ziegler, Deltona, Fla.; and Ann McOsker of Ft. Collins, Colo.; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
