COLERIDGE — A Coleridge Round Robin Tournament will be held this weekend. Team entry fees will go toward the new softball field.

COLERIDGE — A newly formed Couples Softball League will get underway Thursday night at the softball field. The present plans for the league call for six nights of action with Aug. 16 the final night. Four teams are now organized.

COLERIDGE — Mr. and Mrs. Ed Brockman celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary on Sunday, July 1 with a dinner and open house at the Coleridge Community Building.

COLERIDGE — The 1974 class of Coleridge Community Schools held their 10th year class reunion over the weekend with a catered dinner on Saturday evening at the Coleridge Community Building. That event was then followed up by a family picnic on Sunday at the Coleridge Park.

COLERIDGE — Cub Scout Pack 147 held their achievement picnic Saturday evening at the Coleridge Park with about 40 persons present. Troy Carlson, Jeremy Hall, Kyle Neuhalfen and Ben Schroeder received their Bobcat badges from Scoutmaster Galen Hoffart.
Arrowheads and progress toward rand beads were awarded to all the Scouts.
Family games were played and prizes were awarded.

COLERIDGE — A Softball Benefit Game will be held on Sunday at the Coleridge Ball Park for equipment for the Coleridge ambulance. Proceeds will be used to purchase a new $2,000 automatic blood pressure monitor. The game will feature KTIV Channel 4 against the Coleridge Ambulance Crew.

COLERIDGE — The Class of 1974 of Coleridge Schools had dinner at the Coleridge Café Saturday evening for their 15 year class reunion.
Twenty class members and their spouses were present.

YANKTON, S.D. — Richard Smith, Coleridge, now holds the state record for burbot. While fishing in the tailwaters of Gavins Point Dam, he landed a 6 - 5 fish. The former mark was 5 - 13.
