HARTINGTON - It has been a month since the Hartington-Newcastle boys’ track team won the Class C State Championship, and the Wildcat boys have already won another accolade, in part because of that work in Omaha.

LINCOLN — Thirteen teens from across the state will lead No Limits, Nebraska’s youth-led anti-tobacco movement, three of those teens hail from Hartington-Newcastle School, Kalyn Martinson, Freedom Rogers and Kerrigan Hoesing.

Cedar Catholic Class of 1968 holds 50th reunion

HARTINGTON — The Cedar Catholic Class of 1968 celebrated their 50th class reunion June 9 at the Hartington Country Club.

The graduating class of ‘68, of which there are nine deceased members, had 33 classmates attended the reunion.
