WAYNE — After returning to the court after a couple of weeks off thanks to Old Man Winter, Laurel-Concord-Coleridge ran into a couple of good basketball teams in Battle Creek and at Wayne Jan. 19 and 20.

The snow and cold couldn’t keep these area kids from being outside. The recent snowfalls were all that was needed to give area kids a chance to finally get out and have some fun in the white stuff. From sledding to climbing the huge mountains of snow to building a tunnel, or maybe building a snowman or having a snowball fight, whatever the activity was, the kids had a ball.

Although this building was erected 110 years ago, a lumberyard has occupied that site since the beginning of the town.
