Celebrating the community

There were plenty of activities to choose from Saturday as the Hartington Chamber of Commerce hosted its third annual Hartington Dayz celebration. Broadway Street from Highway 84 to Elm Street was blocked off for the morning and afternoon so a vendor show and children's activities could take place. The street was reopened up to State Street later in the day. The Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot band then set up at the corner of Main and Broadway for a street dance. Besides the street dance, a childrens' duck race, foam party and touch-atruck activities all took place.

Jaylen Junck, Eli Bermel, Robby Dorcey and Eli Miller participated in the 2024 Quad County League All-Star game last week in Plainview. The Ranolph players were part of the East team. The Peewee team had a come-from-behind win, 27-25 and the Pony team won also, 4-3.
