Cedar teams earn track titles
HARTINGTON — There was action back at the Hartington Community Complex last Tuesday for the Cedar Catholic Track Invite. The Trojans swept the event, with the boys edging out Hartington- Newcastle by five points and the girls beating the Wildcats by three.
Creighton, Crofton, Wynot, Randolph, and Santee were also in attendance for the meet that was a warm break from the late winter that has plagued Northeast Nebraska, with temperatures being in the mid 60s. “It gets much warmer than this it gets harder to breathe and there was a little wind, so it was an ideal day for runners,” said Cedar coach Chad Cattau. “This may end up being the best day we get all year.”
