Lady Cats edge Winnebago in quarterfinal action

CREIGHTON - The Lady Wildcats advanced to the semifinals of the Lewis & Clark Conference Tournament with a 56-53 win over Winnebago last Tuesday. HNS was led by Abbe Morten’s 15 points and eight assists, both team highs.
Morten’s eight assists were a career high for the sophomore. Her distribution skills helped lift the Lady Wildcats to a win in a close game. Morten was followed in scoring by Willa Scoville’s 13, Karli McCain’s 10, Belle Harms’ nine, Allie Rosener’s five, and Kayden and Gina Jueden both scored two.
