Cedar claims fourth straight District Golf title
NORFOLK— The sun came out on Monday for one of the first times this high school golf season.
Cedar Catholic took advantage of the good weather and fired one of its best 18-hole rounds of the season to win the District C3 title.
Cedar Catholic sophomore Riley Kuehn paced the team, carding a 78 to tie for the top spot with Wisner-Pilger’s Rockney Peck. Peck ended up winning medalist honors in a sudden death playoff.
The rest of Coach Mike Johnson’s team also performed well, as they ended the day with a 328 to edge Battle Creek out by one stroke for the team title.
