High flying LCC offense out-guns Cedar
HARTINGTON — It could very well be a preview of a postseason matchup in Subdistricts come February.
Cedar Catholic and Laurel-Concord-Coleridge faced off on Thursday night in Hartington for the first time since the Trojans ended the Bears season at Subdistricts last year.
LCC earned redemption in a 77-67 win as the team ran away with a win after a back and forth first half.
Cedar came out hot to start, holding the lead through much of the first quarter, and holding a 19-16 lead heading into the next frame.
“You want to make sure you get going, but when it is a big game like this I think kids are naturally ready,” said Cedar head coach Matt Steffen.
