LCC speech team is fourth at home meet

LAUREL — The LCC speech team hosted a meet Saturday, Feb. 24.

Several local students earned honors at the home meet. As a team, LCC finished fourth on the day. Two Laurel-Concord-Coleridge entries took home top honors.

Here is a look at local results: Duet Acting: first place, Kolten Settje and Jackson Hall.

Humorous Prose, first place, Kolten Settje.

Extemporaneous Speaking: second place, Jackson Hall.

Informative Speaking: fourth place, Kennedy Hall; fifth place, Clara Brummels.

LCC is set to compete on March 13 at the District C1-3 speech meet at Bancroft-Rosalie.
