HARTINGTON — The project of installing a new, modern street lighting system will be taken on by Consumers Public Power District, according to Dale Reynolds, the local Consumers manager.

HARTINGTON — Four cars were damaged here Tuesday afternoon when a car driven by Carl Hausmen ran into three cars parked on south Broadway Avenue.
He was charged with reckless driving and appeared in court Thursday morning.
Hausmen was fined a total of $79 and had his driver’s license revoked for 90 days.
