Cedar Catholic claims NSAA Cup title
LINCOLN — Cedar Catholic was recently named the Class D winner of the 2022-2023 Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) Cup.
The NSAA Cup is earned in three divisions and four different classes for all high schools across the state and for all athletic and other NSAA sanctioned activities.
Schools are grouped into the four classes, A, B, C and D and three divisions in each class; all-school, boys and girls.
Cedar Catholic was named the Class D All-School winner for this past school year and will be awarded the Cup next fall at a special ceremony.
“Our student body had a great year in all of our activities,” incoming Cedar Catholic principal and current activities director, Chad Cattau said. “We had a lot of success in both athletics and fine arts - I am extremely proud of all of our coaches and sponsors of our teams.”
Scoring for the Cup is pretty straight forward for the athletic events.
