Denise Naslund

COLERIDGE — Denise Naslund, 63, Coleridge. died peacefully July 21. 2018, surrounded by her family. Private family services will be held at a later date. The Hansen Funeral Home, Vermillion, S.D., is helping with arrangements. Denise Nordby was born Aug. 29, 1954, in Coleridge, to Dean and Carol (Janssen) Nordby. She graduated from Hartington Public high school in 1972, and attended business school in Omaha. In 1975, she married Kelly Naslund. She worked at the 1st National Bank of Omaha, Wayne, and most recently in custodial for the University of South Dakota, Vermillion, but her main job was raising four boys. She enjoyed boating, camping, family time and traveling with her friends. She is survived by her husband, Kelly, Coleridge; three sons, Dennis (Tina Lovejoy), Coleridge; Derick, Randolph; Darren, Coleridge; a daughter-in-law, Katie Naslund, Yankton, S.D.; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, David, and a brother, Carry Nordby.
