30 Years later ...

Angie Peitz, Etched Impressions, Hartington, and her staff (above) recently installed the new sign on the front of the Cedar County News building. She also updated the artwork on the front door. When the husband and wife team of Rob Dump and Peggy Year bought the newspaper 30 years ago, they brought their family of four, which then included two children, Kyle and Kaylee. They soon added Kellyn, and have since grown to (right) Emily and Kellyn and their son, Grayson; Kyle and his boys, Quinlan and Ellison James, Peggy and Rob, and Kaylee (Travis) Minnick and their little boy, Thomas. Kyle, Kaylee, Kellyn and Emily, all contribute to the production of the weekly newspaper and several of its digital platforms, from hartington.net to NewsFirst.
