Wakefield, Wisner-Pilger play in Tourney opener

HARTINGTON — Wakefield took on Wisner-Pilger-Howells-Dodge in the opening game Friday of the Area 1 American Legion Junior Tournament at Felber Park.
Wisner-Pilger took advantage of some Wakefield miscues to earn a 7-2 victory, sending Wakeifeld into the loser's bracket.
Wakefield will now play at 4 p.m. Saturday against the winner of the Hartington-Crofton game.
