Wayne stops Cedar boys

WAYNE — The Wayne Blue Devils took control early Saturday, racing out to a big 19-11 first-quarter lead, never looking back en route to a 67-55 win over Cedar Catholic in openinground action of the Great Northeast Nebraska Shoot-out.
The Trojans regrouped in the second quarter to outscore the Blue Devils 16-15 and cut their deficit to just seven points, 34-27, heading into the locker room.
The two teams again played point for point to open the second half with Cedar taking a 15-14 scoring advantage.
