Spencer Alan Lammers
HARTINGTON — Spencer Alan Lammers, 5-month-old son of Chris and Kara Lammers, Hartington, died on Feb. 24, 2018, at the Avera Sacred Heart Hospital, Yankton, S.D. Visitation will be Wednesday, 4-7 p.m., with a Vigil Service at 6 p.m., at the Wintz Funeral Home, Hartington, and will begin at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, at the church. Mass of Christian Burial will be March 1, at 10:30 a.m., at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Hartington, with Rev. Owen Korte officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Hartington. Pallbearers will be Ray Lammers, Tim Lammers, Chad Urban and Jordan Brakke. Spencer was born Sept. 26, 2017, at the Avera Sacred Heart Hospital, Yankton, to Christopher Alan and Kara Marie (Marks) Lammers. His time on earth may have been short but his big heart touched the lives of all those that came in contact with him. He enjoyed music, dancing and playing with his big sister. He is survived by his parents of Hartington; a sister, Maya Lammers, home; maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Glenda Marks, Pierre, S.D.; paternal grandparents, Joe and Kathy Lammers, Hartington; maternal great-grandmother, Yvonne Ehlers, Presho, S.D.; paternal great grandparents, Jeanette Lammers, Coleridge; and Norman and Delores Sudbeck, Hartington. He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Alfred Urban, Walter Ehlers, Edward and Frances Marks; paternal great-grandfather, Donavon Lammers; and an uncle, John Lammers.
