Ricky LaVerle Obermeyer

LAUREL — Ricky LaVerle Obermeyer, 62, Laurel, died Feb. 15, 2022, at Providence Medical Center, Wayne.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bressler-Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home, Wakefield.

Rick was born Aug. 21, 1959, to LaVerle and Anne (Bach) Obermeyer in Osmond. Rick worked at Michaels Foods and later Heritage Homes. Most recently he worked as an independent contractor in construction.

He enjoyed fishing and listening to music, visiting and texting with friends.

Rick is survived by his special friend Joyce Zila, Wayne; mother, Anna Mae Obermeyer, Wakefield; brothers, Scott Obermeyer, Wakefield; Brian (Kris) Obermeyer, Bennington; and Steven (Deb) Obermeyer, Pender; and many nieces and nephews.

Rick is preceded in death by his father, and brother, Gerald Obermeyer.
