PVH Board of Directors approves assisted living facility plans

COLERIDGE — Leo Schulte, wellknown representative of KN Energy for Coleridge, will be retiring after 36 years with the gas company.
The Coleridge Community Club invites everyone to free coffee and cookies at the Coleridge Cafe on Friday in his honor.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Roth will be honored for their 70th wedding anniversary with an open house at Park View Haven on Sunday, July 9. Ed Roth and Elsie Walter of Laurel were married July 6, 1919 at Laurel. Mr. Roth started farming in 1918 near Belden. The couple moved into Coleridge in 1963 after retiring.

COLERIDGE — Members of the Board of Directors of Park View Haven have given tentative approval of the preliminary plans for the new assisted living facility to be built in Coleridge in the near future. The building will be built in the northwest part of Coleridge and will be approximately 152 feet in length and have 12 studio-size apartments and eight 1-bedroom apartments.

COLERIDGE — The Sports Medicine Center in Omaha has announced the athletic performance test results from the most recent session of the National Athletic Testing Program. From Coleridge the top athletic performance test scores were by junior Michelle Frerichs with a 711 and senior Tyson Jorgensen with a 1416.
