HARTINGTON — Despite state-mandated restrictions limiting public gatherings to 10 or fewer, area residents found a unique way to start of Holy Week on Sunday. Holy Trinity Catholic church representatives distributed palms to a waiting line of cars near Holy Trinity Catholic Church Sunday morning.
Palm Sunday services had to be handled a little differently this year. Vehicles lined Summit, Park and Broadway streets around the church so their occupants could receive the palms.
At least 200 cars and trucks paraded through Hartington displaying their palms and waving at local residents.
