Local volleyball players end on a high note

NORFOLK - One last chance for redemption and to go out on a win. The Cedar Catholic volleyball team lost in the Class C2 State Championship game last November in five sets to Superior, and three Lady Trojans had the opportunity to end their high school careers on a win at the Northeast Nebraska All-Star Volleyball Classic.

Before that championship game, Cedar had not played in a fifth set all year. Madie Arens, Ashley Hamilton, and Anna Reifenrath helped make sure that was not an option at the All-Star game, as the Light team won in four straight sets.
