Lady Blue Devils are still unbeaten on the year
WYNOT — The Wynot Lady Blue Devils are now 6-0 after notching two more wins last week.
Wynot beat Winside 3-0 (25-21, 25-18, 25-20) and Viborg-Hurley (SD) 3-0 (25-11, 25-8, 25-11).
“Winside will always give us a good game,” Wynot head coach Tammy Wieseler said. “They are coached well and play hard. We had to play good defense and play a lot of stuff off of blocks. Viborg-Hurley was a bit of a slower game for us so we really had to play our tempo/style of game that we like to play.”
Wynot battled Bloomfield on Tuesday and heads to Hartington-Newcastle Thursday.
“Hartington-Newcastle will always play us tough as well,”
Wieseler said. “We have two road games that will test our ability to play well on the road. We are blocking well and serving hard. Because we serve hard, we tend to miss a few as well, so we need to work on that and we also need to keep our first pass spot on so we can run a good offense.”
