Kevin Myrl Urwiler
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — Kevin Myrl Urwiler, 48, Bloomington, Minn., formerly of Laurel, died July 23, 2018, at the Martin Luther Manor, Bloomington.
Funeral Services were July 30 at the Wintz Funeral Home, Laurel, with Rev. Troy Watson officiating. Visitation was Monday at the funeral home. Burial was in the Laurel Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Scott Boysen, Anthony Boysen, Andrew Elsberry, Monte Mason, Loren Urwiler and Harlan Urwiler.
Honorary Pallbearers were Mark Boysen, Gene Elsberry, Norman Elsberry and Ronald Elsberry.
Kevin was born April 19, 1970, in Wayne, to Roy and Lois (Elsberry) Urwiler. He grew up on a farm north of Laurel and attended school in Laurel. He lived on the farm with his parents and worked at various jobs in the area. In 2004, he suffered kidney failure and in 2005, he moved to the Minneapolis, Minn., area.
He was a very spiritual person who loved reading his bible, listening to Christian music and watching Christian television. He was very personable and loved visiting with everyone.
Kevin is survived by his mother, Lois Urwiler, O’Neill; two brothers, Loren Urwiler, Moville, Iowa, and Harlan Urwiler, Overland Park, Kan., and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and several nieces and nephews.
Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Roy.
