Kathol to leave for new position in Lincoln

HARTINGTON — It was time for a change. Hartington native, and long time Cedar Catholic teacher, coach and administrator Terry Kathol announced last week he will be leaving the school for a new position.

Kathol has accepted a job on the administrative team as one of two new Assistant Principal positions at Pius X in Lincoln. The positions were just added because of an influx in students at the Lincoln school.

Kathol graduated from Cedar Catholic in 1987, and started his teaching career here in 1991. He later became head football and head girls basketball coach, taking both the football and girls basketball teams to the state title game in his career.
