HARTINGTON — The Hartington-Newcastle School Board Monday accepted a letter of resignation and learned about a federal grant to update the school’s internet network.
Elementary School resource teacher Brandi Alexander submitted a letter of resignation.
She has been at the school for 11 years. Alexander took a new job in her hometown in Plainview.
The School Board accepted the resignation without comment. Supt. A.J. Johnson said he is uncertain at this time how they will fill the vacancy.
Johnson told Board members the school has been approved for a federal E Rate grant.
