Hartington Juniors stumble in road games

HARTINGTON — The Hartington American Legion Juniors tuned up for their American Legion Area tournament in Hartington by dropping two tough road decisions.
The Juniors fell 10-6 at Pierce and 9-0 at Columbus-Lakeview over the weekend.
In the Pierce defeat, highlights included two RBI from Jay Steffen and a triple by Brett Kleinschmit.
The Seniors will head to Crofton July 18 for the Area 1 District tournament.
