Girls Basketball State Tournament Brackets Released

HARTINGTON - With Cedar Catholic's 70-42 win over Ainsworth on Friday night, the Lady Trojans punched a ticket to the state dance. Cedar upset Hartington-Newcastle and Crofton in Subdistricts along the way, and the girls will head into State needing to create the upset again.

Cedar Catholic goes into the State Tournament in Lincoln as the eight seed, and will play Hastings St. Cecilia, the top seed, at Lincoln North Star on Thursday, March 1, at 2:00 P.M. Semifinal games will take place at the Bob Devaney Sports Center on Friday, with the State Championship being played at Pinnacle Bank Arena on Saturday.
