Diane Marie Rastede Piper
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Diane Marie Rastede Piper, 72, Jefferson City, MO., died Jan. 26, 2022.
Visitation will be 4-5:30 p.m., Feb. 15, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a Celebration Service to follow at 5:30 p.m., with Pastor Randy Dignan officiating.
Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Diane was born June 11, 1949, at Benthack Hospital, Wayne, to Erwin Wesley Rastede and Ella Marie Cogdill Rastede. Diane graduated from Laurel High School in 1967. She was a devout Lutheran and remained in her faith attending Trinity Lutheran Church, Jefferson City. She always had a love for banking and helping those around her. This started with a move to Centerville, Iowa, and working at Iowa Trust and Savings Bank for nine years. She then moved to Jefferson City, and was employed at Personal Care America Federal Credit Union, inside the Unilever plant for 25 years. After her retirement, she worked a few part-time jobs and enjoyed being around people.
She also had a love of working with her flowers which she was able to do during her retirement. Diane also loved to travel and find unique treasures along the way.
Diane is survived by her son, Jason T. Piper (Mindy), New Bloomfield, and three grandchildren, Alexis, Andrew and CJ; one brother, Gary Rastede (Judy), Concord; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
