Dendinger leads Cedar golfers at O’Neill Invite
O’NEILL — The Cedar Catholic girls golf team hit the course last week for their first meet of 2024.
Wayne shot a 377 to claim the tourney title at the O’Neill Invitational girls’ golf tournament, Thursday.
Cedar Catholic fired a 462 to finish seventh in the 11-team field. West Holt was second at 405, followed by Battle Creek (414) and host O’Neill (424).
Maggie Dendinger led the Cedar team with a Top 15 finish, firing a 106 to finish in 13th place.
Wayne’s Joslyn Johnson shot an 83 for medalist honors, two strokes better than West Holt’s Daleni Knust.
The local squad teed off Tuesday at a triangular hosted by Laurel-Concord-Coleridge.
