Dendinger earns All American status

HPS grad sets new WSC record
PITTSBURG, KAN.— Michaela Dendinger of Wayne State College earned First Team All-American honors from USTFCCCA and scored 16 points for the Wildcats at the national championship meet with her pair of second place finishes in the weight throw and shot put.
Dendinger also set a new school record with a mark of 67’ 0” to finish second in the weight throw Friday evening at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships in Pittsburg, Kansas.
Dendinger entered the national championship with the second-best mark in NCAA Division II.
