NORFOLK — Connie Wortmann, 59, Norfolk, died Jan. 27, 2018, at Faith Regional Health Services, Norfolk. Visitation and a Rosary were Thursday at Home for Funerals, Norfolk. Mass of Christian Burial was Feb. 2 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Norfolk, with Rev. Scott Schilmoeller as celebrant. Burial was in Prospect Hi l l Cemetery, Norfolk. Connie was born Dec. 24, 1958, to Leonard and Dorothy (Hoeppner) Erickson in Wausa. She grew up in Norfolk and attended Norfolk High School. Connie married Fred Wortmann Oct. 29, 1983, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Norfolk. They had three daughters, Shawna, Sarah and Lisa. Connie worked at Dale Electronics and the State Hospital. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Connie was a talented artist and enjoyed painting and drawing. She also collected dolls and was Fox News’ #1 viewer. Connie is survived by her husband of 34 years; daughters, Shawna (Jeremiah) Ward, Sarah Wortmann, Lisa Wortmann; eight grandchildren, Davin, Gabriel, Callaway, Jasmine, Ceanna, Darius, Izabelle and Isaac, sister, Cheryl Jensen; two brothers, Kevin (Vicki) Erickson and Brian (Bonnie Boyd) Erickson; her father-in-law and mother in- law, Francis and Irene Wortmann, brothers-in-law, Chuck Anderson, Charles (Tina) Wortmann, Anthony (Mary) Wortmann, Ron (Danette) Wortmann, Joe (Sue) Wortmann, Randy (Marla) Wortmann; sisters-in-law, Rose (Glen) Kreikemeier, Sharon (Perry) Klein, Charlotte (Dave) Reifert, Geralda (Rick) Heikes, Sue (Dan) Thomas and Carol Wortmann; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Kathy Pendergast, Marilyn Cisler and Jane Anderson; brother, Jerry Erickson; and brother-in-law, David Wortmann.
