Coleridge blood drive is great success

COLERIDGE — LifeServe Blood Center hosted a blood drive in Coleridge June 17, and had a great turnout, with 15 donors registered to donate and 15 units of blood collected. The units donated at the blood drive can help save up to 45 lives.
Three donors hit milestones with their most recent donation, Wayne Kurtzhals, 11 gallons; Jane Hoesing, 12 gallons; and Rodney Benson, 13 gallons.
The Village of Coleridge helped to coordinate and host the blood drive.
The next Coleridge Community Blood Drive will be 2-5 p.m., Aug. 19, at the Coleridge Community Center.
