City Council approves two business loans
HARTINGTON — The Hartington City Council Monday approved two business revolving loan fund applications
The Council approved a loan for Meika Kramer for a new pet grooming business she is starting — Pawz Salon.
Kramer plans to start a mobile pet-grooming business. The Council agreed to use its revolving loan fund for a $12,000 zero percent interest loan for the start-up business.
The Council also approved a $50,000 zero percent interest loan for Hartington Auto and Truck Parts, Inc., which will be owned and operated by Eric and Jana Eickhoff.
Eickhoff said the corporation is being set up to buy out current Hartington Auto Parts owners Tim Leise and John Lounsbery. He expects that transaction to be complete by Oct. 1.
