Cedar golfers compete at Norfolk, Stanton
NORFOLK — The Cedar Catholic girls golf team took home second-place honors in Thursday’s Norfolk Catholic Triangular.
Pierce won the event with a 230, while Cedar fired a 262 to take second. The Lady Blue Jays’ Keli Shermer earned medalist honors with a 50.
Cedar golfers Maci Schommer and Jenna Wiebelhaus led the team with a 60 and 61, respectively.

The Cedar Catholic girls golf team finished third at the Stanton Invitational on Sept. 2.
Maci Schommer paced the local team, firing a 97 on the day to finish in fifth place.
Jenna Wiebelhaus also finished in the Top 15 with a 103.
