Cedar girls punch ticket to State

PIERCE — The Cedar Catholic Lady Trojans swept Elgin Public / Pope John here Saturday to claim the District volleyball title and advance to State.
This marks the fifth straight year the Cedar girls have advanced to the State Tournament.
The Lady Trojans will take on second-seeded BDS at 2 p.m.Thursday in first-round action.
