Cedar girls close out regular season with wins
BATTLE CREEK — The Cedar Catholic Lady Trojan basketball team finished the regularseason with a couple of wins and earned the right to host the D1-4 SubDistrict Tournament Feb. 14 and 16 at the Msgr. Werner Activity Center.

The Lady Trojans led by a single point at the end of the first frame but Homer tied it up and went up by a basket at the halftime break, 22-20.
The Lady Trojans got defensive in the third quarter and held the Lady Knights to just seven points while scoring 18 to take the nine-point advantage into the final period.
Noecker again paced Cedar Catholic with 18 points while Jones poured in 15 and grabbed seven rebounds to complete a successful evening.
Kathol added six points and a dozen rebounds, Lauren Bernecker contributed four points and Pick and Katelyn Arens each had two.
