Cedar County Fair again books three big name performers

HARTINGTON – It is fair to say country music fans will be pleased by the popular performers headed to next year’s Cedar County Fair.

The fair board has announced its entertainment lineup for the 2022 edition of the annual summertime celebration, which will be held July 13-17 in Hartington.

Fair board president Greg Heine was relieved the fair’s evening entertainment has been officially scheduled for next year.

“I’m pretty pleased,” he said. “I work with a lot of other venues throughout the Midwest to try to kind of work with the routing to try to get these bands to come here as well," he said. “It helps in getting bands here. Otherwise, it’s kind of tough to get these kinds of bands in the small town of Hartington, Nebraska.”
